Site assessment

Your brand new backyard Home begins with a Site Visit, and will include specific analysis of local jurisdiction requirements, set-backs to property lines, utility hook-ups, access, and site preparation.

Signing the contract

Our team will work with you reviewing the details until you’re ready to sign on the dotted line.

Selections-Permit Application

Our team will assist you in making finish and fixture selections, layout, and minor customizations. We will develop and submit the construction plans and all supporting documents to the city or county for approval and issuance of permits, simultaneously with the ADU Production.

Production

Wood from our tree plantations is selected, milled, dried, and our panels are assembled by our experienced craftsmen. Every component of your unit is pre-assembled in our factory to ensure it passes quality control before it’s disassembled, finished, flat-packed, and shipped to your site.

month 4

Site Preparation and Construction

The site preparation process begins once all permits have been issued, and while your unit is in production. This involves grading, utility connections, and foundation installation.

Installation

Once your unit arrives, our team installs all of the teak panels, from floor to ceiling, electrical and plumbing systems, and all selected fixtures that make your new Masaya ADU move-in ready.
